This is very expensive because it means the content marketer, social media marketer, and SEO (usually one person or a small group of people working together on inbound marketing) are under tremendous pressure. If you're hired as an agency, you don't have the budget, bandwidth, or to achieve what you need to achieve. They didn't put in the practice long enough, and they just gave up too early. It didn’t work this time, and a lot of people who wanted to invest in content marketing long-term have dropped out of the game. Three, four, five or more times it didn't work.
Now, in some ways, this is actually a good thing for people like you and me, because it means moible number data we have very little competition, which is a wonderful thing otherwise. If it were easy, everyone would do it. The field will be saturated. It's going to be very, very difficult to compete, even harder than it is now, and very difficult. A lot of people don’t think about SEO properly because they think of content marketing as almost like a viral endeavor. It will only spread.

We're not worried about how these things rank in search engines, or whether that helps our search rankings for other things. So they did something really stupid. They don’t take this piece of content and put links to potentially relevant content on their site, and they don’t do a good job of internal linking either. So they pretty much threw away a lot of that content. You can see many people siling their blogs from their main site, which of course is bad. They will put them on subdomains or separate root domains so that no link authority is shared between the domains.
