Aware of the responsibility that private companies have with the problems and needs that surround us, at KÖMMERLING we continue to maintain our participation in charitable initiatives and causes as a priority. We started this 2020 by collaborating with the Caminando Association, which aims to improve the quality of life of children with disabilities.
On March 8, the “III Navarrosa Popular Race” will take Special Data place in Azuqueca de Henares (Madrid), in which we will be present as preferred sponsors. In addition, part of our staff will actively participate by running one of the two possible routes: 5 or 10 kilometers. All proceeds, both from sponsorships and race registrations, will go to the Caminando Association. Organization that aims to promote the visibility and inclusion of people with functional diversity.
In its third edition, the race organized by the Navarrosa Sports Club and the Navarrosa Athletics Club will be held on Women's Day (March 8). A date with which the Caminando Association seeks to promote the inclusion of girls and women with diversity through sport.
For those of us who are part of KÖMMERLING, it is important to support and encourage the development of this type of initiatives, which not only have a solidarity purpose, but also promote healthy habits such as practicing sports. On this occasion, this collaboration has been possible thanks to Rubén Ureña, a worker in the Logistics Department and one of the organizers of the race.
